As a Software Engineer in Test, you’ll be testing complex scenarios, end-to-end, using automation frameworks like Selenium.
Must-haves:
- Proficiency in either Java or Python.
- At least 4 years of experience in working on automated testing frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber.
- Excellent understanding of Feature, Regression, and Smoke Testing.
- Clear understanding of RESTFul API’s and building test frameworks for the same
- Excellent in finding testing scenarios, catching corner cases of the feature that you would be testing.
- Ability to Manage and Test different Projects simultaneously.
- Tech/ BS in Computer Science (or have done relevant courses for the same)
- Good in analysis and solving problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passionate about working in a startup.
It would be a plus if:
- If you have built an automated test framework for at least one product from the scratch
- Understanding of how the web works
- Understanding of MVC frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Python Django
Key Responsibilities :
- Understand the design and end-to-end workflow of the feature/product specifications.
- Coming up with all the testing scenarios even before the start of development, after going through the design and specifications
- Keeping the test suite up to date with the latest changes
- Documentation – Keeping all the testing scenarios in the documented format so that anyone can test the scenarios manually if required
- Key role in keeping the production bugs count to zero
