We are looking to appoint a software test engineer that will join a multi-site team working on ADAS automotive products. The main focus will be on designing, developing and executing software function tests in simulation environments to show fulfillment of the project and customer requirements. Also validation of test environments as well as reporting test results to project test managers or function developers are tasks in daily business.
Job Description:
› Analyze and evaluate internal and customer specific tests
› Execute functional tests with closed- and open-loop simulation test environments
› Perform tests on different integration levels, from Model-in-the-Loop over Software-in-the-Loop to Hardware-in-the-Loop
› Development of tests based on requirements, using existing or self-developed simulation tools
› Wide range of projects from concept studies to series products
› Work in an agile environment with other engineers across international development teams and sites.
› Provide development support and knowledge to test managers and function developers
› Create documentation and test reports for releases
Job Requirements:
› Degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronics or similar Engineering disciplines
› First experiences with software development or testing preferable in automotive environment
› Basic understanding of embedded SW architectures and interfaces
› Python programming skills
› C or C++ skills are beneficial
› Knowledge in simulation tools e.g. CarMaker or Simulink are beneficial
› High motivation to contribute to ADAS and safety products within an international environment
› Good verbal and written communication skills
› English Fluent
