API Engineer

What we offer:
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic API Engineer with 4-6 years of working experience in API & Back-End Development with a passion for solving complex problems & providing scalable end-to-end solutions. Our ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of API development & maintenance. In the role you will collaborate with client Tech teams and build integrations for different systems in B2B & B2C ecosystems with and for our clients.

What you will do:

• Develop APIs that are scalable and high performing
• Deliver maintainable code
• Contribute to CI/CD strategies in collaboration with our clients
• Work with DevOps teams to identify improvements for existing and new core services, and define the solution direction
• Actively explore further innovation opportunities in client focus area

What you will bring:

• 5+ years’ experience in Software Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in developing API’s, Web applications and integrations with different systems
• Strong experience with Java and/or .Net
• Working experience with frameworks like Quarkus, Spring, SpringBoot, Micronaut or Vert.x
• Good knowledge and understanding of REST
• Experience in building Microservices, Docker, CI/CD, and DevOps way of working
• Experience with AWS or other Cloud providers is a plus

Good to know:

• Knowledge of technologies like GraphQL, Kafka, ELK stack, Couchbase, MsSQL, Ansible, gRPC, and BDD/TDD is a plus
