Position: Senior Accountant / Team-Lead for Switzerland Location: 1200 Vienna, Austria Contract: preferably full-time (40h/w), part-time optional OVERVIEW The main responsibilities of a holder of this position are the completeness and accuracy of the accounting documents delivered on time, independent accounting, reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts, reporting to HFM, communication with financial analysts, external advisors, auditors, banks. The holder also is in charge of managing a small team of accountant(s). Overall responsibly for Swiss-based entity. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Overall responsibility for fixed assets transactions, maintained fixed assets sub-ledger, journals and respective documentation Overall responsibility for accrual accounts, reconciliation Overall responsibility for intercompany recharges incl. SLM recharges, control over netting process Payroll reconciliation (external payroll provider) IFRS 16 and IAS 19 booking and reconciliation Monthly reconciliation of all general ledger accounts VAT reporting and CIT accruals in cooperation with external advisors in Switzerland Preparation of statutory financial statements Monthly IFRS reporting in HFM Responsibility for statutory audit Coach junior accountants, share skills and knowledge with the team Ad-hoc tasks YOUR PROFILE > Experience and background University degree in economics or accounting, or Secondary economic education combined with subsequent education in accounting, taxes, and /or IFRS (can be supplemented by 10 years of continuous professional experience in the accounting) Sound knowledge of local GAAP and a good understanding of taxation principles, good knowledge of IFRS Minimum 5 years work experience in the accounting, financial analyses, reporting Proven experience with intercompany recharging processes MS office user skills, MS Excel intermediary user skills, experience...
