We are looking to appoint a software engineer that will join a multisite team working on automotive products, in projects related with Autonomous Driving, Cybersecurity or Electromobility. The successful candidate will design, develop, and debug application software that fulfils the project and customer requirements, and provide technical assistance to others within the business.
Job Description:
› Analyze and evaluate internal and customer project requirements.
› Develop algorithms and functions automotive platforms and contribute to the software continuous improvement
› Focus on communication, diagnostics, bootloader, cyber security and function integration
› Wide range of projects from concept studies to series products
› Perform software integration, test, debugging and validation according to the existing development process.
› Work in an agile team with other engineers across international development teams/sites.
› Provide product support/knowledge to production, customers and internal product support.
› Create documentation and release notes.
Job Requirements:
› Degree-qualified in Electronics, Computer Science or related disciplines
› Experience in Software development using C, C++ and assembly languages
› Good understanding of microcontrollers for embedded applications will be a plus
› Knowledge of Automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet), preferred.
› Pro-active, self-motivated and a good team player
› Good Verbal and written communication skills
› Fluent English language skills
› Willingness to travel worldwide
