What you will do:
Metyis is growing! We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join Software & Technology team.
• Review and analyse requirements and (technical) system specifications
• Collaborate with developers to develop effective test strategies and plans
• Lead the creation of test scenarios according to BDD approach
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results
• Lead the charge towards greater and more effective test automation
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the agile development lifecycle
• Assist the QA Community with ongoing improvements to QA processes and alignment
opportunities of multiple test frameworks
What you’ll bring:
• 3+ years as a Test Automation Engineer or similar role
• Good communication skills in English
• Working in a fast-paced international environment

• Work in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
• Working knowledge of Behaviour-driven Development (BDD)
• Working knowledge of Cucumber
• Working knowledge of SAP, IBM WCS
• Write automation scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Working knowledge of Selenium
• Good experience of API testing
• Experience setting up and developing the CI/CD pipeline (Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)
• Experience of mobile device testing (iOS and Android)
• Working knowledge of JIRA, X-Ray, (Confluence a plus)
• Experience in documenting and troubleshoot errors
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
