OVERVIEW
In this position as Senior Data Warehouse Developer, you will be responsible for development and operation support of our business intelligence and reporting solutions in our Data Team. This highly responsible role covers implementing state-of-the-art technology solutions to drive forward Global Blue’s Tax-Free Shopping and Currency Choice product offerings. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology in an agile environment for the market leader in its industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop and support our Data Warehouse and BI reporting solution.
Develop SSIS packages, stored procedures, database triggers, views using T-SQL.
Apply DW modelling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet best-practice and performance expectations.
Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentoring and cross-training to other peers and team members.
Support MicroStrategy and Tableau BI software platforms accessing the DW.
REQUIREMENTS
Desired Skills and Experience
Strong implementation and administration experience with MS SQL Server.
Solid experience with SQL, stored procedures, database triggers, views and other database manipulation languages/methods.
Solid experience in data acquisition, data consolidation, ETL, SSIS, SQL IDEs and/or Business Intelligence solutions.
Working knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling; dimensional modelling preferred.
Experience in C# .Net API integration and usage.

Experience working in the Financial Industry Sector
